If you're growing Monstera, Pothos, Snake Plant, Spider Plant or ZZ Plant, choose the Lush formula made specifically for that plant. For other houseplants or a mixed collection, Lush Houseplant Food is the simplest place to start.

02 Are the plant-specific fertilizers actually different? +

Yes. The specialty formulas use different nutrient ratios. For example, Monstera is 4.85-1-4, Pothos is 5-1-4, Snake Plant is 4.5-1-3.7, Spider Plant is 4.6-1-3.7, and ZZ Plant is 4.2-1-3.7.

03 What if I have several different kinds of houseplants? +

Lush Houseplant Food is our complete 3-1-2 general formula and is designed for a wide range of indoor plants. It's a great choice when you want one fertilizer for a mixed houseplant collection.

04 Do I use fertilizer and Dechlorinator together? +

They do different jobs. Lush Houseplant Dechlorinator conditions your tap water, while your Lush fertilizer supplies plant nutrients. When both are appropriate for your routine, condition the water and then add your fertilizer according to its directions.

05 How much Dechlorinator do I need? +

Lush Houseplant Dechlorinator is highly concentrated: use 1 drop per 32 ounces of water or 4 drops per gallon. One bottle treats up to 600 gallons.
